Brave heart alias D’Heart est un chanteur, DJ et producteur jamaïcain, né à Ocho Rios en 1976. Il grandit à August Town et commence la musique dès les années 90 sous le nom Pancho, sort son premier titre «119» [produit par Stone Love Movement] en 1993, et se produit en tant que DJ aux cotés de Sound Systems locaux, Turbo Charge et Massive Hi-Power.

Au fil des années, il a également pu collaborer avec des artistes tels que Rootsman, Prezident Brown et Luciano sur différents projets. Il prit le nom Brave heart après qu’en 2002, la police lui demande en sortant d’un concert où il avait sciemment allumé son spliff sur scène : « Et toi! toi! homme très brave. C’est ton nom Brave heart (coeur brave)? ».

Brave heart est très actif dans l’ombre comme lyriciste et producteur et a déjà sorti deux albums sur son propre label Jamfrench, en plus de plusieurs titres sur différentes compiles et vinyles. Comme revient souvent, dans les conversations, la question de la poursuite de sa carrière de chanteur, 2014 est pour lui l’occasion d’y répondre avec son EP : «Still Deh Ya». Sorti sur le label STRATEGY Record.

Braveheart aka D’Heart is a Jamaican Reggae singer, DJ and producer, born in Ocho Rios in 1976. He started music in the early 90’s as Pancho, released his first tune « 119 » [produced by Stone Love Mouvement] in 1993, and was Djing alongside local Sound Systems such as Turbo Charge and Massive Hi-Power.

He as well has collaborated through the years with great artists such as Rootsman, Prezident Brown, Mark wonder, Anthony Jahn and Luciano on differents projects. He took his name Braveheart after a show in Jamaica in 2002, where he lighted up his spliff on stage, after what police asked him : « Eh Yuh! Yuh’re very brave man. Is yuh name Braveheart? ».

Braveheart is very active behind the scenes as songwriter and producer and has released two albums on his own label Jamfrench, and many songs on compilations and vinyls. As people are always asking him if he’s still singing, 2014 is the year for them to get an answer with his EP « Still Deh Yah », release on the Strategy Record label.
